Welcome to Quercy de la Pierre, a fully restored and updated gite near Parisot, in the department of Tarn-et-Garonne in South West France.

The property is 3 star accredited with Gites de France, furnished with a mixture of traditional and contemporary design and has been welcoming visitors for thirty five years from all over the world.

Quercy de la Pierre is set in calm surroundings close to nature in a small private hamlet, overlooking Parisot's lake with views of the rolling hills towards St. Antonin, Najac and Cordes-Sur-Ciel.

La visite... The gite is spread out on two floors and comfortably accommodates up to 5 guests. Access is via stone steps leading up over the cellar to the front door on the first floor.The property comprises a living/ dining room, integrated kitchen, 3 bedrooms (one of which is air conditioned on the second floor with en-suite WC and shower room).Immediately outside is a covered patio, along with your own private barbecue and pergola a few paces away.The beautiful 15 metre swimming pool is truly an area to relax in the sun and take in the panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The pool is shared with the property owners; however they very rarely use it, thus enabling guests to really consider it as their private area.

A la carte cuisine

The kitchen area is equipped with refrigerator, gas hob and gas oven, microwave, dish-washer and washing machine.

The two downstairs bedrooms comprise double beds of 140cm x 190cm. In the upstairs bedroom the bed is 160cm x 200cm along with a cot. Mattress covers, pillows and blankets provided (bedsheets and towels are chargeable).

Bath/shower room located on the first floor and en-suite shower room on the second floor, with separate toilets on each floor.

The garden includes a petanque court, table tennis table and swings. The 15m x 6m pool is fenced with motion sensors and pincode access. We ask that small children are accompanied by a parent/ adult at all times in the swimming pool.

Libre? The Tarn-et-Garonne is one of the least densely populated departments in France, where visitors are plunged into typical French life and tranquility. The Quercy-Rouergue region is proud to host some of the most impressive historic sites, authentic villages and local food markets to be found in the South West, where you can get your hands on real non-processed ingredients, delicious home-grown fruits and vegetables, a whole range of exotic herbs and spices, and all at reasonable prices far away from the supermarkets.Below are a range of sites within a radius of roughly 20km from Quercy de la Pierre well worth fitting into your schedule:- The Cistercian Beaulieu Abbey and Centre of Modern Art- Villefranche de Rouergue, a fortified town with its large weekly market- Saint Antonin Noble-Val, an enchanting medieval village tucked in amongst the hills- The Chateaux de Saint Projet, de Cas and de Labro, not forgetting the medieval towns such as Cordes-sur-Ciel, Najac and others- The pretty village of Parisot, 2km from Quercy de la Pierre, providing all the main amenities from the bakery, grocery and the restaurant to the library, post office and pharmacy.- In addition to the numerous walks available, be it through the private woods on the property to further afield, there are also a whole range of sports and activities within easy reach such as Golf, Walking, Tennis, Horse Riding and Fishing, visits to local caves, museums and the local food markets (details of market days are in the next section " Planning Your Stay").
